High Fly is an infinite runner where you pilot a jetpack character upward, dodging obstacles while managing a fuel meter that constantly drains. It's a simple concept executed with care โ€” the kind of game that's easy to pick up but hard to put down.

The game shipped with an online leaderboard, an achievement system, and a store where players can unlock new jetpacks that provide gameplay advantages. It went through multiple updates after launch, including bug fixes, a tablet version, and a full 2.0 update that added the store, achievements, and improved overall quality.

What I Learned

High Fly was where it all started for me. It was my first time going through the entire process of building a game, polishing it, and actually putting it in front of real players. I learned how to scope a project, how to handle post-launch updates based on feedback, and what it takes to get an app through Apple's review process. Most importantly, it taught me that shipping is a skill in itself โ€” and it's the one that matters most.
